GLENDALE, AZ — Madden has released the highlights of its 2020 player and team rankings, with Kyler Murray and Patrick Peterson as the two most notable standouts at their positions for the Arizona Cardinals.
Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was the highest-rated rookie QB in the NFL, which doesn’t come as a big surprise considering the selected him the first overall pick in the NFL draft.
EA sports compared Murray’s speed and running ability to Michael Vick, widely considered the best rushing quarterback in the history of the NFL.
Cornerback Patrick Peterson was the highest-rated overall player for the Cardinals, at 92.
The Cardinals were also tied for the third-worst team ranking at a score of 78, along with the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Those teams placed ahead of only the New York Giants (77) and Miami Dolphins (74) in Madden's ratings.
