There's a chance that the young man who was in town to work out for the Phoenix Suns on Monday morning could end up being their top pick (No. 4 overall) in this year's NBA Draft.

Many mock drafts out there, including those from USA TODAY, NBA.com and others, have the Suns selecting Jaylen Brown with the fourth overall pick.

The 6-foot-7, 230-pound 19-year-old out of Cal is a versatile athlete who has drawn comparisons to former Suns guard/forward Jason Richardson.

"It's just a learning experience, getting used to the lifestyle, getting accommodated with everything," said Brown of his early experiences in the NBA, which has included workouts in New Orleans and Boston, along with Phoenix.

"I can't wait for the season to take place and the draft to get over with so I can start my journey on a new team, but I'm enjoying the process and I'm glad to here."

Brown said he can help an NBA team in multiple ways, including his ability to shoot from 3-point range. "I can shoot it a lot better than people think," he said.

We'll find out whether Brown will become a Sun in just a couple weeks: The NBA Draft is set for Thursday, June 23.
