Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald returned to the game in the third quarter after he left the field and headed to the locker room with a team trainer with less than two minutes to play in the first half of the Cards' home game vs. the San Francisco 49ers.
Fitzgerald appeared to suffer the injury after he flipped over by and landed awkwardly following a reception late in the second quarter. 49ers cornerback Jimmie Ward applied the hit on Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald caught seven passes for 56 yards in the first half, surpassing Terrell Owens to move to No. 6 on the NFL's all-time receptions list.
