The Arizona Cardinals have cut 31 players to set the roster at the league limit of 53 players for the start of the regular season.

Among those cut is former University of Arizona standout linebacker Scooby Wright, guard Dorian Johnson (a fourth round draft pick) and running back Chris Johnson, who was cut earlier this week.

As of now, this means the Cardinals will keep three quarterbacks, including Blaine Gabbert, who was in danger of not making the roster because coach Bruce Arians typically only keeps two quarterbacks.
