In a couple months, Bruce Arians will be honored in the town he grew up in with a garden gnome created in his likeness.

The Arizona Cardinals coach appreciates the sentiment, but he isn't entirely sold on the final product.

On June 17, the York Revolution, a pro baseball team not affiliated with Major League Baseball, will give away Bruce Arians gnomes to the first 1,500 fans.

What does Arians think of the giveaway?

"Very flattering. I didn't think he really looked much like me, though. He's a little chubby," he said Tuesday during a press conference to discuss the upcoming NFL Draft.

Arians was a standout quarterback at York Catholic High School and later graduated from William Penn High School in York. He said he'll do his best to be in town for the gnome giveaway, but the timing may prove tricky.

"I'm hoping to be able to get home for that, but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make it," he said.
