Arizona Cardinals defensive end Chandler Jones is one of the NFL's best at sacking opposing quarterbacks -- and we'll all be rooting hard for Jones to add a few more sacks before the end of the season.
Jones announced Tuesday that he will donate $20,000 to Phoenix Children's Hospital for each sack he records in the Cardinals' final two games, vs. the Rams on Sunday and at the Seattle Seahawks the following weekend.
“We are going through a tough stretch right now but we all know there are people who are dealing with much tougher situations. I’m happy to do this and it will give me even more incentive to finish the season strong," Jones said in a statement issued by the team.
Jones has 12 sacks through 14 games this season; only seven NFL players have more. Last year, Jones led the NFL in sacks with 17, and he leads the NFL with 40 sacks since joining the Cardinals via trade before the 2016 season. He has recorded at least one sack in nine games this season.
