PHOENIX — The rising number of COVID-19 cases, is continuing to impact the state of education in Arizona.

Some students have returned to fully-remote learning while others are still attending classes in person, and some districts have now been remote since the Spring.

With another update to the Maricopa County schools dashboard expected Thursday, districts are now focused on what learning will look like at the start of second semester.

ABC15 is working to help you and your family prepare, hosting a town hall live on Facebook and Youtube Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 12 p.m., moderated by education reporters Danielle Lerner and Karla Navarrete.

They will be joined by Wes Brownfield, of the Arizona Rural Schools Association, and Stephanie Parra, executive director of ALL in Education. Parra is also a member of the Phoenix Union High School District governing board.
