The sports world has been witness to some amazing winning streaks. The UCONN Women’s basketball team’s 111 consecutive wins and Arsenal’s 49-match unbeaten streak come to mind.

But what was missing from both of those amazing winning streaks? Beer.

Late Saturday night, Phoenix Rising FC defeated Sacramento Republic FC 2-1, improving their undefeated record on Dollar Beer Night to 14-0-0.

The win extended Phoenix Rising’s current win streak to 15. The team’s last loss was back on May 4, losing to Orange County FC 0-2 on the road.

Rising’s record on Dollar Beer Night has garnered national attention, and even Bud Light, who sponsors the dollar beer games, recognized the team with their own hype video.

Where does Rising’s undefeated rank among the greatest streaks of all time? Here’s a list of other legendary sports streaks on par with Rising:

555 Consecutive Squash Victories
Who could forget Jahangir Khan’s legendary squash winning streak? The “Greatest Squash Player of All Time” won 555 consectuive matches from 1981 to 1986. Khan even won the International Squash Players Association Championship without losing a single point. He eventually lost in 1986 to New Zealand player Ross Norman.

Most Dedicated Fan Ever
USC Superfan Giles Pellerin attended 797 consecutive football games, a streak that spanned 73 years. Giles went to every game from 1925 to 1998. The only thing that could stop him was death. He passed away in 1998 at age 91, coincidentally during a USC-UCLA game.

Premier League Darts – 45 Match Win Streak
Professional darts, where virtually every night is beer night, is home to this legendary winning streak by Michael van Gerwen. Sir Gerwen, yes he’s a knight, was eventually toppled, but not before 45 consecutive win streak where he still averaged more than 100 points three-dart average. (Hint: that’s more than you.)

Where does Rising’s undefeated record on Dollar Beer Night stand upon these legendary sport’s records? At the top.

Phoenix Rising FC has one more Dollar Beer Night game this season. The team will host Oklahoma City Energy on October 18, with a chance to close the season with a W on Dollar Beer Night.
