PHOENIX — Authorities are looking for two suspects who shot and killed a man in South Phoenix Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called to the scene near 29th Street and Roeser Road around 2:20 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene, they found the victim, Adrian Reyes Valdez Avila, 21, with multiple gunshot wounds, according to Phoenix Police Sgt. Tommy Thompson.

Avila was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries, Thompson said.

Police located a video that shows two suspects running from the scene where the shooting occurred.

The first suspect is described as a skinny Black male with dreadlocks who was wearing a white t-shirt and tan cargo shorts.

The second suspect is described as a heavy set Black male who was wearing dark clothing.
