WATCH: Experts discuss things to do across Arizona during pandemic

For many, August marks five months of working from home, while simultaneously quarantining, keeping the kids -- and ourselves -- entertained, and, now helping them with their schooling. Not to forget, also keeping up with the latest COVID-19 guidelines, and an unrelenting and record-breaking heatwave.

Maybe you're feeling a bit claustrophobic in the house and are not entirely sure what's open and not open. What is there to do around Phoenix during the pandemic? If you're looking to beat the heat, what about a day trip or road trip up north? Are there spots that are less busy, but still beautiful? What about areas where you can maintain social distancing?

Plus, what does this "new normal" look like for small businesses for the foreseeable future?
