Raising Cane's is elevating its presence in the Valley, according to an announcement made Wednesday.
MRG President Justin Micatrotto said the restaurant franchise, with its famous chicken finger dipping sauce, plans to build three more locations in Arizona this year. Two of them are expected to open back-to-back this summer.
Micatrotto said one of the restaurants will be located on Arizona Avenue near Ocotillo Road in Chandler. The other restaurant will be located on Val Vista Drive, near Williams Field Road, in Gilbert. The third one will open in North Phoenix at 12th Street and Bell Road.
When Raising Cane's opened its first restaurant in Vegas in 1996, Micatrotto said the owner knew he wanted to branch out. Phoenix was always on the radar.
"It's been a great market. In September, it'll be five years (in Phoenix)," Micatrotto said.
Raising Cane's currently has eight Phoenix-area locations, plus one in Casa Grande, Tucson and Flagstaff.
