PCSO: 1 dead, 2 arrested after shooting in San Tan Valley

Two minors have been arrested in connection to a deadly shooting in San Tan Valley on Saturday.

Police were called to a home near Mountain Vista and San Tan Heights boulevards around 2 p.m.

When officers arrived they found a man suffering a gunshot wound who later died in the hospital, a police spokesperson said.

The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Tyran Simmons. 

Police arrested a 17-year-old man and a 16-year-old woman in connection to the shooting. Authorities are not releasing their identities because they are juveniles. 

According to officials, the shooting is connected to a drug related incident. 

An investigation is ongoing and no additional information was immediately available.
