Parts of Arizona could get drenched by rainfall in the next two days.
The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued a flash flood watch for all of southern Arizona as well as central parts of the state during the daytime hours on Monday and into Tuesday.
Forecasters say between 1 and 2 inches of rainfall is anticipated with a few localized spots getting anywhere from 3 to 4 inches.
Meteorologist Hector Vasquez tells the Arizona Republic that there is also a possibility of winds as high as 40 mph.
The wet weather will likely stir up flooding of roadways and washes in some places.
Drivers could face difficult conditions.
