Voters have decided they want a change when it comes to education in Arizona.

Diane Douglas will no longer be the Superintendent of the Arizona Department of Education.

Douglas finished a close third in the GOP primary election behind Frank Riggs and Bob Branch. About 360 votes separated Riggs and Branch.

Voters will now decide between Democrat Kathy Hoffman and former Republican Congressman Frank Riggs in November.

Hoffman taught in Arizona and is a Red for Ed supporter. Riggs is a charter schools executive.
