SCOTTSDALE, AZ — The pandemic has another potentially dangerous consequence for children.

According to ChildHelp, calls to their hotlines last month were 41% above what they would see in an average month.

ChildHelp’s goal is to offer assistance to children in crisis, including kids suffering from abuse. Their headquarters are in the Valley.

Right now, they’re holding their annual “Men Who Think They Can Cook” fundraiser virtually because of the pandemic.

Now through June 23, you can vote for your favorite chef and donate to the cause.

ChildHelp is also looking for more chefs to submit videos. If you’re interested, email Caroline McGroder at Carolinemcgroder@gmail.com.
