On Wednesday, Arizona Helping Hands announced that they were teaming up with the Department of Child Safety to ensure essential items foster care families need are delivered to them, despite the coronavirus pandemic.

On their website, the organization wrote: "Despite the challenges of the current crisis, we will continue to serve our community and achieve our mission."

Foster families should contact 480-889-0604 or email dreamcatcher@azhelpinghands.org.

AHH asks that you are prepared to provide documentation for all children in the request.

If you want to help foster families in Arizona when donations are critically low, you can look through the organization's Amazon Wish List or you can donate before April 15, 2020 for a foster care tax credit contribution.
