A passenger jet traveling from Canada to Arizona landed in Boise on Tuesday afternoon due to a medical emergency with a passenger.
Boise Airport spokesman Sean Briggs says the WestJet aircraft traveling from Calgary to Phoenix landed in Boise at about noon.
He says the passenger experiencing the medical emergency was transported to a local hospital. Briggs says another passenger traveling with the person with the medical emergency also got off the plane.
Briggs says the aircraft refueled and departed after being on the ground for less than an hour.
Briggs didn't know how many passengers were aboard the plane.
A message left for WestJet by The Associated Press wasn't immediately returned.
