Kick off the holiday season with half a million lights and free movies on Thursday, November 16!
Pollack Tempe Cinemas is holding it's annual FREE Holiday Movies and Lights! The fun begins at 4:30 p.m. and the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Also at that time, the employees will flip the switch for the spectacular light display in the Pollack Tempe Cinemas Shopping Center! There will be carolers from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., and you get to choose from four movies to watch for free!
The four classic Christmas films are The Polar Express, Shop Around the Corner, Jingle All the Way, and Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas. The shows start at 7 p.m.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It is first come, first served, so get there early! In previous years, people have lined up since seating is limited.
Valley Real Estate Entrepreneur Michael Pollack loves this philanthropic tradition, and told us they were ranked the #1 Best Budget Movie Theater in 2016, and one of the "Coolest Movie Theaters across America". After you visit, you'll see why too!
If you can't make it out on Thursday for the opening lighting ceremony, no need to fret! They will remain up all season until Saturday, January 7, 2018.
Plus, their discount rates are phenomenal. Every day but Tuesday, it's $3.50 a ticket. On Tuesdays, it's $2.50! The prices at the concessions are discounted too!
You still get quality though. They just recently renovated the seating, and they recline! Also, when you walk around, you'll feel like you're in a wax museum. The entire place is full of characters they've acquired throughout the years. That's another thing Pollack loves. He enjoys seeing kids walk around and learn who some of the characters are that were before their time. He has plenty modern and iconic characters too though.
Come experience the magic, and enjoy a free flick!
