The Prom Closet is offering FREE dresses, suits and more to high school students!

It's prom season! The whole experience can get expensive from the attire, to dinner to prom tickets, but The Prom Closet is here to help!

Landmark School is opening up the gymnasium, to transform it into a boutique for high school students. Ladies, they have gorgeous, new and gently-used dresses, accessories, heels and bling! Guys, they have pants, shirts, cummerbunds, jackets, ties and bow ties! They have more for men than they have in the past!

Past President for the Peoria North Rotary Club, Bret McKeand, told us that several rotary clubs collect, sort, store and clean the donated items throughout the year. Then, they set it all up to give it away for free!

Here's how it works: Bring your student ID, and volunteers will basically go in with you like a personal assistant. It is a limit of one outfit per person.

DATE AND TIMES TO SHOP at The Prom Closet:

March 24th, 25th and 31st
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

April 7th and 8th
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

From March 24th to April 8th, donations can also be delivered to Landmark School any day from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. So, if you have a prom dress at home that you'll never wear again, donate it! Help make someone's prom extra special!
