You can score some savings on your food bill by finding out what is on sale.

Safeway and Albertsons

Safeway has Progresso soups on sale for $.99 each. All you have to do is download or clip the coupon from the ad, and you can buy six for that price. At Albertsons, you can buy four at that price.

If you go to Albertsons, you can buy a box of select varieties of Post cereal for $1.67 each. You can buy six for that price. At Safeway, you'll find a similar deal, but you have to buy at least four participating items in order to get that price.

Also at Albertsons, if you spend $100 or more you will get $10 off of your bill with the coupon from their ad. Plus on Dec. 15, if you work in the field of First Responders you will get 10 percent off of your food bill. You can also buy red seedless grapes for just $.97 per pound.

Fry’s
