Veterans Day is this Monday, November 11, and we want all of those who serve and have served to know that we are thankful for you! Many retailers and restaurants want to also honor veterans with lots of deals and discounts!

Here are some ways that business that want to celebrate you for FREE!

  • GET A BRAND NEW FLAG FOR FREE: On November 8, veterans can bring old, tattered flags to Von Hanson's Meats and Spirits to get a new one. You can also get a FREE hot dog and drink from 2 to 5 p.m.
  • FREE ACCESS TO U.S. MILITARY RECORDS: Ancestry is opening up the archive of over 260 million records like draft cards, enlistment records and more, through November 17 for FREE.
  • FREE HORSEBACK RIDING at the MTM Ranch in Cave Creek.
  • FREE ANIMAL ADOPTIONS: All Arizona Humane Society locations arewaiving adoption fees from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday. But, if you're not a veteran, you can stillget 50 percent off all cat and dog adoptions at the Humane Society's PetSmart locations.
  • A FREE ROUND OF GOLF, LUNCH, AND GOLF CLINICS atTalking Rock in Prescott.
  • FREE YOGA CLASSES YEAR-ROUND: Nicole Anne Yoga is a mobile yoga company with classes each month at locations around the valley. These classes are open to the public, but free for veterans or active-duty military members.
  • FREE ADMISSION TO WONDERSPACES: Wonderspaces at Scottsdale Fashion Square welcomes active duty military, reservists, veterans, and their dependents to experience its new show, “Elsewhere,” for free this Veterans Day. The "Elsewhere" show – featuring 13 different artworks that range from an ocean of light you can walk through to a virtual reality dance party – is a place for friends and family to share extraordinary experiences. Walk-in tickets are available at the door. Advance tickets are available online at arizona.wonderspaces.com. Tickets for “Elsewhere” are released by time slot and require arrival within a designated 15-minute window.

Who doesn't love FREE FOOD? Here are some restaurants where you can score a free entree, combo deal or get a discount, just with your military ID on November 11:

FREE ENTREES:

  • FIRED PIE is offering a free entree to all veterans who show their ID or are in uniform.
  • OLIVE GARDEN: You can score an entree from the menu that includes: Unlimited Soup, Salad & bread sticks, Cheese Ravioli, Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Lasagna Classico, Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Piccata, when you dine-in during business hours on Monday.

FREE COMBO MEALS:

  • WEST ALLEY BBQ: Score afree 1/2 rack of ribs platter, that is normally $19.00
  • GINGER MONKEY TAVERN: get a free entree up to $12
  • PANDA LIBRE: Veterans can get a free Burrito or Bowl, normally costing $8 to $10
  • WHITE CASTLE: There is acoupon on the website about the offer on their website, but you don't need to coupon to redeem the deal.

MORE DISCOUNTS:

  • SAUCE PIZZA AND WINE: You can score 25 percent off your dine-in or takeout order.
  • THE VIG: You can get 20 percent of your entire bill.
  • BLACK ANGUS STEAKHOUSE: You can get an All-American Steak Plate for only $9.99. It comes with an eight-ounce Certified Angus Beef Top Sirloin steak with mashed potatoes, fresh broccoli with garlic butter, and a non-alcoholic beverage.
  • MORNING SQUEEZE: You can score a free drip coffee and 20 percent off an entree that normally range from $9 to $14. This offer is valid at both the Tempe and Scottsdale locations.
  • GROCERY DEALS: All Bashas', AJ's Fine Foods and Food City supermarkets throughout the state will offer 10% off to Veterans on Monday, Nov. 11, 2019. Valid ID is required.
