There are two options you can enjoy for free: the Spicy Tuna Roll or a California Roll.
No purchase is necessary to get the handcrafted, hand-cut rolls made with rice from right here in the U.S. You do have to dine in and just mention the promotion to your server. It's limited to one eight-piece of either per guest.
They told us, "Last year, P.F. Chang's served nearly 93,000 sushi rolls across the country on Free Sushi Day- this year we hope to surpass 100,000."
More of the fine print sent to us:
This offer is valid all day, Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, with no purchase required, for dine-in use only. The Free Sushi Day offer is limited to one 8-piece Spicy Tuna or California Roll per guest but is not limited to a maximum per table. It cannot be combined with any other offer. A limited number of P.F. Chang's locations are not participating, including airport, Atlantic City, Puerto Rico and Hawaii restaurants, and P.F. Chang's restaurants that opened within the last 30 days.
Here are some more tips from the folks at P.F. Chang's when it comes to eating the sushi rolls:
Can't quite get the hang of chopsticks? Don't worry. It's customary to eat certain types of sushi with your hands.
Take a bite of ginger between bites or between different rolls to cleanse your palate.
Speaking of bites… one bite per piece is recommended, but only if it feels right to you. Some sushi rolls may simply be too big to comfortably eat in one bite, and that's okay too.
Make a reservation! Head to and we'll save you a seat on Thursday, September 20th.
