The recycling festival is taking place at Desert Ridge Marketplace Saturday, April 8 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. behind the AMC Theaters.
You can donate things like non-perishable food items, electronics, cell phones, phone books, sports equipment, writing utensils, inkjet cartridges, and clothing. They ask you not bring single use (alkaline) batteries, light bulbs, hazardous waste such as paint, tires or chemicals.
You can also safely get rid of unwanted documents. Keep Phoenix Beautiful will also provide on-site shredding of up to five banker boxes full of documents.
