HARKINS THEATRES 8TH ANNUAL BACKPACK DRIVE
On Saturday, July 28, Harkins Theatres is hosting its 8th Annual Backpack Drive, teaming up with the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, and Coca-Cola!
Fans will receive two Ultimate VIP Movie Passes for FREE when you donate a backpack filled with school supplies. They're looking for crayons, spiral notebooks, pencils and glue sticks.
The campaign will supply Playworks, a local non-profit organization dedicated to improving the school and learning environment.
There are only two locations and specific times for you to make your donations to receive the two free tickets:

PHOENIX TOOLS 4 SCHOOL EVENT
The Phoenix Tools 4 School event on Saturday, July 28, will take place from 7 to 11 a.m. They will provide an estimated 15,000 kids in K-8th grade with a carnival, backpacks with school supplies and college prep workshops from Arizona State University and Maricopa Community colleges.

STAPLES TEACHER APPRECIATION DAYS
Since we're talking about school supplies... We already showed you that between Target, Walmart, and Staples, Target has the lowest prices for back-to-school supplies.
But, don't completely count Staples out yet.
Every retail purchase of $25 or more through September 15th generates an entry code, a chance for a student to win a grand prize of a $50,000 scholarship, and four others can win $25,000 scholarships! That could help with college tuition.
Staples teams up with DonorsChoose.org to support local classrooms and teachers, collecting customer donations in-store and online, with Staples matching contributions at the end of the back-to-school season.

Staples also has Teacher Appreciation Days through September 8, 2018. Teachers with a valid ID can visit participating Staples and receive a free kit filled with samples, coupons and additional discounts while supplies last.
The website states: Teachers will also be eligible to enter a Staples Teacher Appreciation Sweepstakes for a chance to win a prize package filled with school supplies and a subscription to "Scholastic" magazines worth $500. Teachers can enter by taking a photo with their teacher kit and posting it on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtags #StaplesLovesTeachers and #Sweepstakes, alongside a description of why they love being a teacher.
