Freebie Friday is one of the best days of the week! There are great events happening all weekend!

Do you want to get out of town? Sedona's Holiday Tree Lighting and Santa Visit is happening tonight at the plaza on State Route 89A in Uptown from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be live entertainment, activities, refreshments, a 20-foot Christmas tree, and of course Santa! The Sedona Main Street Program and Sedona Chamber of Commerce team up with the City of Sedona to make the event happen.

Back in town, bring your blanket and lawn chairs to the Christmas tree at The Scottsdale Quarter. You can enjoy free movies there every Friday night in December. Shows start at 6:30 p.m. Tonight, it's Nightmare Before Christmas! Click here to see where else you can see your favorite Christmas movies for free, and some other events!

This weekend, drop a line! No, I don't mean calling a friend. I'm talking about a deal that's a catch, and you can reel in all the fun at Gilbert's Youth Fishing Day! Saturday, December 2nd, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., head over to Freestone Park with your family. You can bring your own equipment to go fishing, or be one of the first 100 people there to use the Arizona Game and Fish Department's fishing gear for free! Click here for more information.

The holiday cheer continues! Buckeye has their 22nd Annual Hometown Holiday Boutique on Saturday with handmade crafts, entertainment, a petting zoo and more from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Then, from 4 to 9 p.m., it's Magic on Monroe, the annual Christmas tree lighting. Plus, you can watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas, enjoy cookie decorating, hot coco, make ornaments, participate in candy cane hunts, and story time with Mrs. Claus! Click here for more information.

If you want to spend the weekend up north, head over to Prescott! The 35th Annual Prescott Chamber Christmas Parade starts at 1 p.m. with over 100 floats. There will also be a Jingle Bell 5K Run. Then, at 6 p.m., don't miss the 63rd Annual Courthouse Lighting and Ceremony! Click here for more information.
