Five free free Easter events around the Valley

Easter is this weekend and a bunch of places are celebrating with free activities.

Head to the Ultrastar Multi-tainment Center at Ak Chin in Maricopa for their free event. There will be egg hunts, games and the Easter bunny will even be there.

It's Saturday, March 26th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on their north lawn.

The City of Chandler is having their Easter celebration at the Snedigar Sportsplex from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 26th.

There will be egg scrambles for kids up to nine years old and all of the age groups will start at 10:30am on different fields. They will also have activities for the kids, including a coloring contest.

The Snedigar Sportsplex is located at 4500 S. Alma School Rd., which is south of Ocotillo Road. For questions, please call 480-782-2669.

Finally the Wigwam is having their annual celebration from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

The Easter bunny will arrive by helicopter and there will be games, live music, face painting, a petting zoo and of course egg hunts.

The festivities are all happening on their front lawn.

Looking for something to do on Easter Sunday? A free Easter egg hunt is happening all weekend for the kids and it is free.

Head to Enchanted Island at Encanto Park on either Saturday or Easter Sunday with your kids for their annual free Easter egg hunt. They are having Easter egg hunts in 20 minute intervals for age appropriateness. The Easter hunt is for kids ages 1 to 10 years. Also, make sure to bring an Easter basket for each child. Parents will need to accompany the younger kids.

Looking for an Easter egg hunt in the West Valley? Grab the kids and a can of food to donate and head over to Centennial Plaza in Peoria on Saturday, March 26th for their Dolly Madison Easter egg hunt

With a donation of a canned food you will be able to get into this event for free and parking is free. They will have Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny on hand for the kids to meet. Plus they will have a candy hunt with eight different age groups. The event start at 8 a.m. and goes until 12 p.m.
