Makutu's Island is teaming up with St. Mary's Food Bank to help fight hunger in Arizona, and September is Hunger Action Month.
So, here's how it works. Now through Friday, September 27 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., you can bring 10 canned food items in exchange for a kid's ticket, normally $12.99 plus tax. Adult charges will also be waived during this promotion.
- WHAT TO BRING: Some of the most needed items for the holiday season are peanut butter, canned fruits, canned vegetables, canned proteins and ready-to-eat meals.
