We're staying on top of the consumer news to help you save some cash on items you may want or need.

RetailMeNot is helping to keep us informed. Here are a few new sales happening now.

ULTA'S 21 DAYS OF BEAUTY SALE:

Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty Sale is going on now through September 19. RetailMeNot posted that you can expect savings up to 50% off, and you're encouraged to take advantage of free shipping. I'm thinking ahead to the holidays. This could be a great time to snag some gifts you'll give later in the year.

THE HOME DEPOT "DAYS OF DECOR" SALE:

The Home Depot has a sale called "Days of Decor", and it's running through September 23. RetailMeNot sent me this information directly in addition to their article, and I have to admit that I didn't realize The Home Depot even sold the items that are for sale!

RetailMeNot says to expect up to 65% off bed and bath linens, up to 70% off luggage sets and travel bags, up to 40% off select mattresses and living room furniture, and up to 35% off select functional wall art. Plus, there is free delivery on orders of $45 or more!

WALMART+ SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE LAUNCHES SOON:

The Walmart+ subscription service will be here starting Tuesday, September 15. RetailMeNot said that for $98 per year, or less than $13 per month, you can get free and even in some cases, same-day delivery for orders over $35. Plus, you can scan and go using the app for fuel discounts, saving five cents per gallon and more!

Also, you can try it before you commit to the membership that's trying to compete with Amazon. There will be a free 15-day trial. Just don't forget to cancel before then.

HAND SANITIZER:

With some of your students going back to school, you may want to be equipped with extra hand sanitizer. Sometimes that hot commodity can be hard to find at a decent price. Here are some hand sanitizers that RetailMeNot says are available now.

ARIZONA RESTAURANT WEEK:

Arizona Restaurant Week starts next Friday, September 18 and runs through September 27. That can be a great way to support local, considering there are over 130 restaurants participating so far. I say this every year, but it's important. Remember to research the price of the items on the prix fixe menu. Normally, it's either $33 or $44, and sometimes that's priced per person or as a couple. But, look at the items offered, the portion and compare what that would normally cost versus what it's priced at for Arizona Restaurant Week to make sure you're saving before you book your reservation.

Enjoy!
