We ventured to the Arizona Science Center in Phoenix, but in a couple weeks, your kids will travel to the Arctic through Camp Innovation: Arctic Adventure.
Director of Youth Programs Alyson Smith was filling us in. Pre-schoolers and kids grades K-5 will have a chance to experience the world of Arctic animals and have some fun while doing it.
Smith gave us a preview of some of the activities. I got to stick my hand in a glove of blubber and dive it into icy water. She performed a magic trick, there was snow and all kinds of other experiments.
The camp runs December 26 - 28 and January 2 - 4. The regular cost ranges from $55 per day for members to $65 per day for non-members. If you want to go all three days, the cost is $150 for members and $180 for non-members... unless you're a Smart Shopper!
