It's an event where you can get shoes and handbags for up to 75 percent off retail and help a good cause at the same time.
We're talking the Florence Crittenton 10th Annual Heels for Healing and Diva Dash.
It's happening at Flo's on 7th on Saturday, Sept. 29.
The organization provides services like therapy, housing and schooling for young girls and women.
Organizers say the goal of this shopping extravaganza is for supporters to "walk in someone else's shoes.”
“This Heels for Healing is symbolic of the shoes, their journey in life that many of us can't relate to. When you show up, you're sprinkling a little hope and letting them know the community really cares,” says Dr. Kellie M. Warren, Florence Crittenton’s Chief Executive Officer.
The event starts with the Diva Dash, where men and women race in high heels.
Registration for that is at 7 a.m.
Then it's time to shop! There are new and gently used designer shoes for as little as $10.
The designer handbags start at about $15 and shopping is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
