It's certainly not your traditional ballet performance setting.

From Sept. 21-30,  Ballet Arizona will offer free events and dance performances in Phoenix and across the Valley and they'll all be held outside.

It's called Ballet Under the Stars. You'll have a chance to see encores of George Balanchine's "Square Dance" and "Western Symphony." The performances will be in Phoenix, Tempe, Goodyear, Sun City and Fountain Hills.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair. The styles range from classical to contemporary and are perfect for families. All performances begin at 7 p.m.
