The Surprise Police Department is investigating after a man was found dead early Thursday morning.
Just before 6 a.m. officers responded to a report of a person lying on the ground near Grand Avenue and Bell Road.
As officers got on scene they located the body of a deceased white man.
Police have not positively identified the man at this time.
Officers are continuing to investigate the cause of death and are asking anyone with information to contact Surprise PD at 623-222-4000 or 623-222-TIPS (8477).
