SURPRISE, AZ — A person has died after getting struck by a train in Surprise.
Officials with the Surprise Police Department say they are investigating the incident which happened around 2:00 a.m. Sunday near Nash Street and Santa Fe Drive.
The name of the victim hasn't been released. It's unclear what that person was doing on the tracks at the time they were struck.
This is an ongoing investigation and more information is expected to be released at a later time.
