PEORIA — A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after being involved in a crash at 91st Avenue and Thunderbird Road, Peoria police say.
The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m.
Though it is unsure how the accident occurred, police say that the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and has been transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle has been cooperating with the police and remained on scene.

Peoria police don't believe that impairment was involved in the accident.
91st Avenue and Thunderbird was closed in all directions for several hours.
