GLENDALE, AZ — Glendale police say two people are dead after a crash late Sunday night.

Police say the crash happened around 10:30 p.m. near 55th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

Investigators believe a Ford Mustang was traveling westbound on Bethany Home Road and failed to stop for a stoplight, when it collided with a Honda minivan.

39-year-old Liliana Delgado and her daughter Rosemary Marin, 18, who were in the van were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Mustang suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are still investigating whether speed or impairment were factors.

No further information has been released.
