Police are investigating after a man was shot by his ex-girlfriend's mother Sunday night.
The incident happened around 8:15 p.m. at a home near 59th and Peoria avenues in Glendale.
Authorities tell ABC15 the man went to his visit his ex and started acting out.
Preliminary information indicates the man's ex-girlfriend’s mom tried to get him to leave and he then allegedly assaulted her.
The mom then shot the man, according to Glendale Police detective Tom Sye. The man's injuries are considered to be non-life-threatening, he said.
No arrests have been made.
