A 59-year-old man is in the hospital after being burned in a Glendale house fire Tuesday night.
The fire broke out around 8 p.m. near 75th Avenue and Union Hills Drive.
Firefighters said the man was working on a motorcycle in his garage. He went inside for some reason, and when he got back to the garage it was on fire, crews said.
Firefighters were able to save a very lucky kitty with a FIDO bag. No one else was injured in the blaze.
The victim is not being identified at this time.
A fire investigator was on scene late Tuesday night trying to find the cause of the fire.
