BUCKEYE, AZ — A man has life-threatening injuries after he was shot by his wife amid an argument, Buckeye police say.
The incident occurred late Friday morning in the area of Verrado and Eastview ways.
The victim reportedly suffered serious injuries and no one else was injured during the incident.
Police say there were children in the home at the time of the shooting, and child safety officials are now involved in the investigation.
Officials say a 29-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to the shooting and faces aggravated assault charges.
The public has been asked to avoid the area amid the investigation.
