BUCKEYE, AZ — A 1-year-old boy is in critical condition after being pulled from a pool near Broadway and Miller roads.
Buckeye firefighters were called to a home for a report of a drowning at around 1:20 p.m. Sunday.
When officials arrived on scene, the 1-year-old was out of the pool and unresponsive as family members did CPR.
Firefighters say there was no fence around the pool.
The boy was transported to a local hospital.
It is unclear how long the child was underwater.
