Emergency crews responded to a serious rollover crash and possible victim search along the I-10 in the West Valley early Tuesday morning.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says a man and woman were headed westbound on the freeway near Watson Road when the woman lost control of the car and rolled through the median, coming to rest on the shoulder of the eastbound lanes.

DPS and Buckeye Fire crews treated the two patients and the woman said a baby was in the car with them at the time of the crash.

Searches by ground and air turned up nothing in terms of additional victims and the woman later admitted that there was no baby in the vehicle with them.

Apparently, drug paraphernalia was found in the car and the victims are believed to have been impaired at the time of the crash.

The vehicle was also reportedly stolen from another state.

DPS says their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
