Police are investigating a shooting that left a 17-year-old dead in Avondale.
The shooting was reported to police around 10 p.m. Friday when officers were called to a parking lot near 113th Avenue and Buckeye Road.
When they arrived, they found a 17-year-old boy who was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead before 11 p.m.
Police said Saturday they are working to determine what events led to the shooting and which suspect or suspects were involved.
The victim has not been identified by police.
