Tip Tuesday: Help FBI, Tempe PD solve murder

ABC15 needs your to help to take action and assist police in getting dangerous criminals off the streets using our new 'Tip Tuesday' series.

In this 'Tip Tuesday' case, you can help Tempe Police and the FBI solve the murder of 19-year-old Adrienne Celeste Salinas.

On June 14, 2013, Salinas attended a birthday party for a friend at her home in Tempe.

Early the next morning, Salinas left the party and then returned, speaking briefly with a roommate.

Around 4 a.m., Salinas was seen leaving the party again. A few minutes later, her vehicle was involved in a single-car accident a short distance from her home. Salinas returned to her apartment, changed clothes, and called a cab.

About 5 a.m., Salinas sent a text message to her boyfriend saying she was going to his house. Salinas then spoke with the cab driver, confirming that he was on his way to get her at a convenience store close to her home.

When the cab driver arrived he was unable to find Salinas or reach her by phone.

Other attempts to contact Salinas' phone went directly to voice mail. Salinas was reported missing on June 16, 2013 (Father's Day), after she was unable to be located by family and friends.

On August 6, 2013, there was a large storm and flooding in the Apache Junction area, Salinas' remains were located in a desert wash basin behind a home in Apache Junction.

Salinas is 5' 5" tall and weighs about 100 pounds, She has a small tattoo of a tribal sun on her neck. She also had a lip piercing with a clear stone, and a four-inch scar on her back.

REWARD

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the suspicious death of Adrienne Celeste Salinas.
