TEMPE, AZ - Police are continuing to search for a 19-year-old woman who went missing after a night out partying.
Crews spent Monday night searching the bottom of Tempe Town Lake for Gateway Community College student Adrienne Salinas.
Officers said they have no specific reason to believe her body is in the water, but they searched it with sonar to make sure.
Tempe police spokesman Mike Pooley said Adrienne was last seen near Brown and Roosevelt Streets around 5 a.m. Saturday morning.
Pooley said Adrienne was supposed to go over to her boyfriend's house, but never made it. Her father found her vehicle a few blocks from where she was last seen.
The car had some front-end damage and two flat tires, and police believe Salinas was involved in a traffic accident late Friday or early Saturday. The doors were locked, the overnight bag she packed was gone, and there were no signs of a struggle.
"Something happened between those two short blocks to her apartment and her car," said Adrienne's father Rick. "Something took place."
According to phone records, Salinas had called for a cab and spoke to the driver around 4:43 a.m. The driver was headed to pick her up at a local AM/PM, but Salinas never showed up.
Thomas Simon is the owner of the cab company and tells ABC15 his son is cooperating with police. Police searched his son's house and he was brought in for questioning.
Adrienne is Hispanic, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo of a sun on her left neck/ear area.
She was last seen wearing a black sheer blouse with white polka dots, a black bra and dark colored jeans.
If you have any information on Adrienne's whereabouts, you are asked to call the Tempe Police Department at 480-350-8311.
