Tempe PD responds to armed robbery on University

Officers have a description and are searching for a suspect.

Tempe police are searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a wireless store Saturday night.

Officers responded to the Metro PCS on University Avenue just west of S. Smith Road and began looking for the suspect.

Authorities said they are looking for a Hispanic male between 25 and 30 years old and wearing a black hoodie and jeans.
