The suspect tends to walk behind the counter wearing a mask, grabs cigarettes, and then puts them in a black or khaki-colored backpack. He has also pulled money out of the cash drop.

The suspect is believed to be between 30-35 years old and tall with a medium build. In the past, he has worn a red hat with the word "savage" on it or a black hat and sunglasses.

He has also been seen leaving inside a light-colored sedan, possibly a 1990s model Lexus LS400, according to Tempe police.
