Arizona State University police have arrested a suspect after a stabbing late Friday night in Tempe.
Police say the victim was stabbed near University Drive and Mill Avenue outside a CVS Pharmacy.
According to police, the suspect allegedly left the scene but was arrested a short time later at a Subway near 10th Street and Mill Avenue.
The victim refused transport to the hospital for his injuries, a police spokesperson said.
Police are continuing to investigate what led to the attack, but officers believe that the pair didn't know each other before the incident occurred.
A text alert was sent to ASU students warning them of the incident.
