CHANDLER — The intersection of Warner and Price roads was closed for several hours after the driver of a stolen vehicle crashed into another car in the intersection.

According to Chandler police, officers responded to a vehicle burglary near Alma School and Warner roads early Wednesday morning.

Two juvenile suspects involved in the burglary left in a car "at a high rate of speed after the victim [of the burglary] interrupted the crime."

The suspects continued to speed, and were observed by Tempe police near Warner and Price roads when they ran a red light.

The drivers of the stolen vehicle crashed into another car in the intersection, according to Chandler police.

The two juvenile suspects, as well as the passengers of the other vehicle, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Chandler police say they were "never involved in a pursuit of the suspect vehicle."

The intersection was shut down for the morning, with roads reopening around noon.
