A 60-year-old man was killed while crossing the road in Tempe on Tuesday night, according to the Tempe Police Department.
Police say before 11:30 p.m. the victim was crossing mid block near Baseline and Rural roads when he was struck by a car traveling eastbound on Baseline.
Officers say impairment does not appear to be a factor for the driver at this time.
