ORIGINAL STORY:

Fry’s Food Stores and The Little Clinic are partnering up to offer free coronavirus tests in Tempe this weekend.

The free tests will be administered on Friday and Saturday, May 15 and 16, at Tempe Diablo Stadium. Testing times will be between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The stadium is said to handle about 250 vehicles per day.

A Kroger Health Media release says those hoping to get tested will use a virtual screening tool based on CDC guidelines to determine eligibility.

If eligible, you can choose your testing time. Pre-appointment paperwork will be emailed to you to complete before you arrive at the testing site. A health care practitioner will perform the nasal swab test while you remain inside your vehicle.

Test results are expected to return in about 48 hours.

To register for testing, click here, or call 1-888-852-2567 (select option 3, then option 1).
