TEMPE, AZ — Tempe firefighters say a man was rescued after being trapped in a hole as a result of a water leak near Kyrene and Elliot roads Saturday night.
Officials say the man was pinned by a sidewalk that slid down onto his lower leg.
Tempe Fire Medical Rescue technical rescue team aided in the rescue.
The man was alert and oriented at the time of rescue and was transported with no life-threatening injuries.
